Your puppy has been vaccinated and wormed, and to the best of my knowledge is in good and sound health, free of symptoms of infection and contagious diseases.  Buyer has 3 working days to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. Failure to do so will void this health guarantee.

If the veterinarian determines that the puppy has a serious or life threatening illness, buyer should contact breeder immediately.  Buyer has the option of a refund of the purchase price, or a replacement puppy of equal value when available.  A letter from the examining veterinarian must be provided.  The puppy must be returned within the 3 day guarantee period.  No exchange will be made after this time.  Breeder has one year to replace puppy.  All vet expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. 

Should the veterinarian diagnose the puppy with a life threatening genetic defect, having been there since birth, breeder will replace the puppy, limited to one year from purchase date.  Buyer must return the puppy to breeder.  Should the buyer choose to keep the puppy, breeder will refund 50% of the purchase price. Buyer must contact breeder immediately upon discovery of a genetic defect. Breeder has the right to have the puppy examined by her vet.  Should the puppy die from a genetic defect, an autopsy must be performed and results given to breeder.  A replacement puppy of equal value will be provided when available.  All vet and autopsy costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. 

This guarantee does not include worms or protozoan (even though the pup has been treated) because they may still be found in a healthy puppy and may need repeat treatment. Retained testicles and hernias are excluded from this guarantee.  No guarantee is given for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).  This condition is not hereditary and is preventable.  No guarantee is made to the disposition, life-span, size or color of said puppy. 

Buyer assumes all responsibility for the puppy after leaving breeders premises; for medical expenses, family allergies, disagreement of the family, etc. No replacement or refund will be made on a puppy due to illness from neglect, exposure to weather, injury, choking, poisoning, etc.  Vaccinations must be 4 weeks apart, for a series of three.  Rabies vaccine should be given at 16 weeks of age.  Should you allow your vet to administer these vaccinations too early, or fail to complete the full set of vaccinations, your guarantee is void. 

All puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration as pets / companions.  This means that your puppy qualifies for AKC registration, but no offspring can be registered with AKC.  Any dogs that are used for breeding will no longer be covered under this guarantee.  Please have your pet spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.
